Your Responsibilities
We at Västersol Home Care are now looking for a unit coordinator.
Your main responsibilities as administrative support to the unit manager are to assist the unit manager in achieving the organization's goals, maintaining a good work environment, and enabling present leadership. You report to the unit manager and are part of a network with other unit coordinators within home care.
Your tasks include, among other things:
- Supporting the unit manager in preparing materials for various processes by following up, analyzing, and suggesting measures.
- Assisting the unit manager in developing action plans to address identified deficiencies in the organization, conducting investigations within the operational area.
- Practical coordination, preparation, and planning of meetings, training, and other operational tasks such as secretarial duties during meetings.
- Coordinating, processing, and managing incoming customer inquiries and feedback to the organization.
- Scheduling for staff and coordinating personnel resources.
- Responsible for permissions, inventory, and orders as well as other administrative tasks.
As a unit coordinator, you are covered by a flexible working hours agreement.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is meticulous and structured!
Administrative education at least at the high school level or education and experience deemed equivalent by the employer is required. A university degree is an advantage. You have at least one year of experience in administrative work.
It is an advantage if you have worked with scheduling/staffing and vacation planning or have worked as a manager. It is also desirable that you have experience in approving financial transactions. For the position, good computer skills, good knowledge of the Office suite, and basic knowledge of working in systems are required, as well as the ability to learn new IT systems.
The work as a unit coordinator requires great social skills as you meet many people in your daily work. You have a service-oriented approach, are accommodating and responsive to those you collaborate with, and have the ability to create trust, security, and engagement among customers, staff, and partners. The position involves independent work as well as teamwork and requires that you can work physically on-site.
As a person, you are meticulous, responsible, and confident in making decisions. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively, set and adhere to deadlines, remind, and follow up. The nature and structure of the work can change quickly during the day, which requires you to adapt to new conditions that arise. You have analytical skills and can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
We assume that you have a good attitude towards everyone and that you work according to the values of the Home Care Administration with the guiding principles - Trust, Respect, and Humility.
A driving license (B) is required.
