We are looking for a driven and technically skilled system administrator who wants to take responsibility for the operation, development, and security of our control and monitoring systems.

The role of system administrator belongs to the Business Support department and the IT and Digitalization unit. At KBAB, you will be part of an exciting operation and work alongside many competent colleagues. Our workplace is centrally located in Karlstad, where we offer a pleasant working environment in modern premises.

Responsibilities

As a system administrator, you are responsible for managing and further developing KBAB's control and monitoring systems. In this role, you ensure operation, documentation, and security. You work to ensure that measurement data is of high quality, well-structured, and easily accessible. The work also involves ensuring that new facilities are connected and handed over correctly, as well as developing standards for both control systems and connectivity in our properties. In new construction and renovation projects, you act as a requirements setter responsible for issues related to the control and monitoring system. You continuously support our property technicians with system-related troubleshooting, contributing to safe and stable operations.

Qualifications

As a person, you are structured and plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively. Attention to detail characterizes your work style, and nothing is left to chance. You are open to learning new things, flexible, and unpretentious, which allows you to adapt to changing work methods. Through good collaboration and attentiveness, you contribute to building good relationships.

We are looking for someone with a post-secondary technical education or equivalent experience. You have experience working in IT systems and have previously worked with control and monitoring systems in property, energy, or industry. It is advantageous if you have experience with Citect SCADA or another overarching SCADA/BMS platform within property, energy, or industry. You have a very good understanding of system architecture and hardware and software. The position requires good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as a B driver's license.
