Test Leader at the Swedish Agency for Mandatory Military Service

Your Responsibilities

As a test leader, you will contribute to the work from requirements interpretation and test planning to execution, analysis, and improvement work. You will work closely with development teams, product owners, and business specialists to ensure robust and scalable solutions.

Your role also includes:

• quality assurance of systems and services with high demands on security and legal compliance through automated and manual testing
• working to refine and realize our test strategy.
• supporting the development and maintenance of existing system solutions as well as newly developed systems in a microservices-based architecture. Our systems are primarily developed in Java.

Your Qualifications

For the role of test leader, you are required to have:

• university or college education with a focus on computer science or software engineering, or equivalent competence acquired in another way
• several years of professional experience in testing and test management
• knowledge of testing methodology, test design, and various testing levels
• experience with agile working methods
• good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written

It is meritorious to have:

• experience with test automation tools
• knowledge of API testing
• knowledge of CI/CD flows and tools
• basic programming skills and SQL
• experience in testing in microservices architecture

Your Personal Qualities

As a test leader, you should have the ability to take responsibility and drive processes forward. It is also important that you can work in a structured way by planning and prioritizing your work effectively. The ability to be flexible in your work, where you can quickly change your perspective and adapt to changing circumstances, is a significant part of the role. In your work, you can also see the big picture and contribute to quality in your work. You also have analytical skills where you can work with complex issues and analyze their components.

About the Employment

We offer you a permanent full-time position that begins with a probationary period.

Due to the nature of the organization, you cannot work from home, but we hope that this can instead contribute to a clearer division between work and leisure.
