ABOUT THE JOB

We are now looking for a teacher for teaching Swedish for immigrants (SFI).

We are the leading educational center in Southern Lapland with a wide range of upper secondary education, ski high school (NIU), adult education, and adapted school for youth and adults. Our vision is to create a driving force for lifelong learning together – a learning that is the key to life!

Swedish for immigrants (SFI) is a qualified language education aimed at providing adults with a native language other than Swedish with basic knowledge of the Swedish language. The work as a teacher involves planning and conducting teaching in Swedish for immigrants. You will also have other customary tasks that are part of the teaching profession. You will be part of a team with other teachers within SFI and work for the students' learning throughout their time at SFI, even though the position is concentrated on the earlier levels of SFI (group A and B). At the Education Center, we work with the premise that the student is always in focus, and as a teacher, you will have close cooperation with student health.
