Strandensskolan is looking for a teacher in Math/Science/Technology.

We are looking for someone who, together with all the school's staff, wants to work to create the best environment for our students.

Strandensskolan is a K-9 school with approximately 240 students, located in a scenic area close to illuminated trails, ski slopes, swimming pools, etc.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating work individually and together with other educators at the school, according to the school's governing documents and with our goals in mind.

You will conduct your own teaching and also collaborate with other educators in the organization. As a teacher, you will work to promote each student's development and learning. Your responsibility includes creating good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

We are looking for a teacher in mathematics, science, and technology for grades 7-9 who, together with other teachers in those subject areas, plans, implements, and follows up on teaching. The position also includes mentoring some students in the upper grades.

You are a positive role model for all students at the school.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a teaching license with subject qualifications to teach mathematics, science, and technology for grades 4-9, or an equivalent degree that qualifies for a license.

It is important in the role that you have a well-developed pedagogical ability. You have a good understanding of how children and adolescents acquire knowledge and the various conditions for learning. Conditions

Everyone working in the school must be able to present a valid certificate from the criminal record register according to the Education Act (2010:800).
