As a teaching assistant, you are a key person for students in need of special support in their school day. You play an important role in supporting and promoting learning and well-being among our students. Your task is to create good conditions for students' development and learning, as well as to provide security and structure in everyday life. You work closely with our teachers and function as a resource in the classroom while providing individual support to individual students. You work to create a positive and safe atmosphere in both the classroom and during breaks, with the goal of achieving increased independence for the student and a reduced need for support from you as a teaching assistant.

In collaboration with other staff at the school, you work to create the best conditions for students, guardians, and colleagues to feel comfortable and safe in the school's operations.

You will support students in middle and high school.

Competence/qualifications - requirements:

Trained teaching assistant or equivalent experience as a childcare worker.

Meritorious qualifications include if you have current work experience with several years of experience working with students in need of special support.

It is also advantageous if you have education in NPF.
