Temporary Position as Preschool Teacher at Stöcksjö Preschool in Umeå Municipality

Stöcksjö Preschool has four departments and is located approximately 8 km outside Umeå with around 70 children. There are a total of 3 educators working in each department. The preschool is located adjacent to the school, and everyone here knows each other. We place great value on equal treatment, digital tools, and sustainable development. Employment Information

The position is a temporary one, full-time, starting as soon as possible, by agreement until 2025-06-20.

Your Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for leading the teaching based on the curriculum. This means that you are responsible for planning, implementation, evaluation, analysis, and development of the teaching. You are part of a team, so it is important to be able to collaborate and lead colleagues with other professional roles in the pedagogical work.

Based on the curriculum, you work with children in groups and ensure that each child is challenged and supported according to their needs. As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for documenting the children's development and learning. You have daily communication with parents about how the children have been during the day but also about their development and any challenges.

About You

As a person, you are committed, flexible, positive, and solution-oriented. You can lead colleagues and drive development work. In your work, you lead children and groups of children, you arouse curiosity, and you find it easy to build relationships and collaborate with children, parents, and colleagues.

Personal suitability is of great importance.

Requirements

• Preschool teacher certification/applied for certification
• Valid extract from the criminal records register
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing
