We are now looking for a dedicated and business-driven Purchaser to join our team in Upplands Väsby. With us, you will play a central role in driving the company forward by ensuring that we purchase the right cars – at the right price, at the right time. We are looking for both those with experience in the automotive industry and those who are at the beginning of their careers but have a strong interest in cars and a solid business drive.

About the role

As a Purchaser at Bilsmidigt, you will influence the company's results and development every day. You will be responsible for the entire purchasing process – from identifying the right objects to securing the deal and driving it to completion. The role requires both a strategic mindset and operational drive.

Your tasks

• Identify attractive objects from various purchasing sources (e.g., leasing companies, dealers, private individuals)
• Negotiate with suppliers and ensure competitive purchases
• Develop and improve our purchasing strategies
• Collaborate with the logistics department for efficient handling of purchased cars
• Analyze the market for trends and purchasing opportunities
• Evaluate trade-in cars in collaboration with others in the team
• Follow up on quality and performance of previous purchases
• Work data-driven and goal-oriented with purchasing results and margins

Qualifications

• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Experience in the automotive industry, purchasing, sales, or another relevant field
• Good negotiation skills and business acumen
• Structured, meticulous, and accustomed to handling multiple tasks simultaneously
• Analytical with good decision-making ability
• Comfortable with digital tools and working in modern IT systems
• A burning interest in cars is a big plus
