We are looking for a Project Purchaser for the reconstruction of the Södertälje lock. The role involves working closely with production and being part of the project team in a large and technically extensive construction project.

About the project
Södertälje lock is the largest trade lock in the Nordic countries and is currently being rebuilt within the Mälar project to increase capacity and navigational safety in the Södertälje canal. The project includes, among other things, a new lock bridge, new lock gates, reconstruction of the entire lock, as well as work on connecting roads and operational facilities.

The work is carried out on behalf of the Swedish Transport Administration according to ABT06. The project spans four years and has a contract sum of just over 1.5 billion SEK. Current production is ongoing, and the project will continue for about three more years. Approximately 20 officials are currently working on the project.

About the role
As a project purchaser, you will work closely with site management and production to ensure that the project's purchases are carried out efficiently and according to plan. The role is varied and involves both operational and strategic tasks related to the different phases of the project.

• Conduct project purchases and procurements
• Establish and follow up requests and agreements
• Collaborate with project management, production, and suppliers
• Follow up on deliveries and manage deviations
• Contribute to planning and purchasing strategy within the project

About you
We are looking for someone who has:

• 2–5 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in production
• Experience in construction or infrastructure projects is an advantage
• Engineering or purchasing education, or equivalent experience
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Driving license B

We believe that you enjoy working closely with production, have good collaboration skills, and work systematically with your tasks.

About the team
You will be part of a team that works on larger and technically advanced construction projects. Previous projects include, among others, the water tower in Nykvarn, the GC bridge at Kungens Kurva, and the double track in Hemfosa-Tungelsta.

The team's base is in Rönninge, but this position is located at the project in Södertälje.
