The Authority for the Elderly and Disability has the task of providing high-quality care to the elderly and people with disabilities in Tyresö.

The authority is divided into two units, one of which is the Unit for Authority Operations for Disabilities. The unit is divided into three groups: children and adult LSS and SoL under 65.

The SoL under 65 consists of 4 caseworkers, one of whom is a group leader at 25%. The LSS children group consists of 4 caseworkers and the LSS adult group consists of 5 caseworkers. The unit also includes a group leader for LSS and a unit manager.

We are looking for a new caseworker for the unit and are seeking someone who enjoys working in a team, at a fast pace, and with a focus on development and improvement work.

The unit consists of a healthy mix of employees with varying experience, age, and background. The atmosphere in the unit is characterized by great commitment and care. A balance between work and leisure is important to us, as well as having a good working climate in a sustainable work situation.

About the Position

As a caseworker, you will be responsible for investigating, making decisions, and following up on interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL), such as home care and housing support, as well as handling according to the Act on Support and Service (LSS). Collaboration with internal and external parties is important to us and to our Tyresö residents, which means you will participate in several collaboration meetings regarding the Tyresö residents you support. We also believe that the best operations improve and develop directly from the employees working in the processes, and therefore you will also work with improvement and development issues in your daily work.

Who Are You?

You have a degree in social work or another relevant higher education in behavioral science, law, or social work.

Requirements:

• Experience in authority operations according to the Social Services Act (SoL), including investigation, assessment, and decision-making, or
• Experience in authority operations according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS).
• Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing, with clear and legally secure documentation.

It is advantageous if you have:

• Advanced courses in LSS, disability areas, or social law.
• Training in IBIC, or another structured method for needs assessment.
• Training in conversation methodology, such as MI (Motivational Interviewing).
• Experience working in digital operational systems like Treserva or LifeCare.
• Understanding of the Administrative Procedure Act, legally secure handling, and documentation requirements.
• Knowledge of collaboration processes with healthcare, providers, and other authorities.
