We are now looking for personal assistants for a man in his 60s living in Ersboda, Umeå. He has both cognitive difficulties and physical limitations, and needs support in daily activities. He enjoys listening to music, watching movies, and playing computer games, and appreciates when assistants show interest and engagement in his hobbies.

The position is a part-time job as needed, which suits you who are looking for a side job without a fixed schedule. Working hours vary between day, evening, and night shifts (sleeping duty) depending on needs. It is a requirement that you can work night shifts.

We are looking for someone who is responsible, flexible, and empathetic, and who enjoys working closely with people. You have the ability to create safety and trust in interactions with others, and always prioritize the user’s needs.

It is preferable if you have experience working in care and support, but it is not a requirement. Delegation is required – if you lack this, you will need to complete delegation training in connection with employment. You also need to be able to speak and understand Swedish well, as communication is an important part of the job.
