ABOUT THE POSITION

At Aktiv Assistans, we are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant for our client just outside Vännäs. The position is approximately 75% and the working hours are mainly scheduled for weekdays from 09:45 AM to 05:00 PM, with weekend work only in exceptional cases. The position is temporary from May to November, with a possibility of extension. We are also looking for substitutes.

Start date is according to agreement, and we would like to see you begin the introduction at the end of April.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a woman in her 50s who lives with her husband in beautiful surroundings just outside Vännäs. Due to a brain injury, she needs support in her daily life, but it is the life around her that is the focus. She is looking for someone who shares her interest in cooking and gardening – and who has the ability to spread joy and smile even when life is challenging. Here, you will have a meaningful role where you truly make a difference in another person's life.

Job responsibilities:

  • Daily household chores

  • Personal care

We are looking for someone who is a calm and secure person with the ability to take initiative. You are responsible, caring, and have a responsive attitude. We also appreciate your ability to spread joy and find moments of laughter, even when life is challenging. Furthermore, the client prefers female applicants.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Very good knowledge of the Swedish language

  • Driver's license and access to a car (the client lives a few kilometers outside Vännäs)

  • You are smoke-free

MERITS

  • Experience working as a personal assistant/other care experience

  • Care education or equivalent

Employment rate: 1 permanent position 75% + 1-2 substitutes

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.

If you want to work with children and young people under 18, you need to present an extract from the criminal record. It is important that the extracts are ordered in good time, as the police's processing time may vary. Due to a change in the law from March 1, 2026, the background check will be expanded to include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register.
