Summer Substitute in Disability Care

Do you want to contribute to a meaningful summer with both stimulating activities and care for our holidaying clients? With us, you will play an important role in providing support and security to people in need of your skills, commitment, and compassion.

What does the job entail?

In disability care, you work with individuals who have mental, physical, and intellectual disabilities. Your mission is to empower each individual to live as independently as possible.

Common tasks include supporting with daily activities, leisure activities, social contacts, personal hygiene, and medication. You may work in group homes, service housing, short-term accommodation, and short-term stays for children and youth, daily activities, housing support, or personal assistance.

Working hours vary depending on the service and can be scheduled during the day, evening, weekend, overnight, and awake night shifts.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is at least 18 years old.
  • Preferably has previous care experience or relevant education, but this is not a requirement.
  • Is positive, attentive, curious, and has a genuine interest in people.
  • Has a strong work ethic and can work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Preferably has a B driver's license as it is needed in some of our services.
  • Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. This is a requirement for effective communication and handling care documentation as well as obtaining medication delegation.
