I am a woman over 40 with a spinal cord injury and use a power wheelchair. I have reduced muscle strength throughout my body. This means that my assistance needs include most tasks that require strength, such as personal hygiene, transfers, meal situations, and much more. However, I am always the one who controls my day (your working hours).

I recently had a major surgery that causes me a lot of pain and brain fatigue. So if you are a person who wants to be social, this is not the right workplace for you.

To apply for this position, you need to be flexible in days and times, as I often do not know in advance when I need you, and it is usually on short notice. I have assistance around the clock (with some waiting time/sleeping duty during the night). I would prefer that you can work 24-hour shifts, but otherwise long shifts, 07:30-19:00 or 19:00-07:30. Other times may occur in case of urgent vacancies.

You need to be able to take a step back but also be active when required.

You will receive proper training before you start working alone.

The person I am looking for is:

• Woman 18+
• Can step in during acute absence
• Vaccinated against COVID
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written (the assistance needs require this)
• Able to work without taking up too much space
