About the Organization

The unit consists of 9 employees who work as experts in security, security protection, information security, fire safety, crisis management, continuity, and civil defense.

The main mission of the unit is to support the management of the administration and the regional areas of Internal Services, Property and Projects, Operations and Services, as well as Support Services and Regional Coordination. The work is carried out in close collaboration with line managers, property managers, project leaders, operations managers, and technical managers in the various regional areas. The work has both operational and strategic character, and collaboration with representatives of the operations is ongoing.

About the Job

As a security coordinator, you will work in a dynamic role, where one day you handle strategic tasks and the next day you are out in the field providing operational support to the various operations. You will also function as an internal expert and requirement setter in the areas of fire protection and security, as well as a method leader in risk and vulnerability analyses and continuity planning.

Your tasks will include supporting both our managers and employees in our various regional areas with systematic fire protection and security work, which involves close contacts and collaboration. You will be part of the Security unit, where you, together with other security coordinators, strengthen the unit through active improvement and development work.

You will also be involved in the development of the administration's security strategic goals, along with associated risk analyses and continuity planning.

As a security coordinator, you will also conduct internal training and ensure compliance with regulations, authority requirements, laws, and ordinances. You will handle daily issues related to security, fire (SBA), and information security, both internally and externally, in collaboration with users of our properties.

If necessary, you will participate in internal meetings to capture security issues. You will report directly to the administration's security manager.

About You

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education as a risk engineer, security coordinator, or other equivalent education that the employer deems relevant. You have good knowledge and understanding of the overall security work and its various areas, as well as a humble attitude. You have a good ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing. A B driver's license is a requirement for the position.

For the role, it is required that you have knowledge of governing laws, regulations, and rules within security and fire protection work. You also have insight into security protection and civil defense, as well as an understanding of requirement setting and impact on critical societal functions.

We see that you have several years of experience in security work, preferably within larger organizations. You have good experience in conducting risk and vulnerability analyses in areas such as fire safety, physical security, and continuity, as well as experience working in projects.

It is advantageous if you:
•    Have experience in fire protection issues, information security, and technical/mechanical security.
•    Have experience participating in projects related to new construction and renovation, as well as an understanding of different construction phases.

You are a communicative and outgoing person who finds it easy to collaborate with others and is used to working both independently and in a team. You have the ability to maintain and develop existing networks within the administration and the region, as well as establish good relationships with other employees in the administration. You are social and find it easy to talk to and in front of people, and you possess a good ability to prioritize and plan your own work.
