The mission of the Community Department is to create fire-safe environments through information, advice, and supervision. We are now looking for a fire inspector focused on supervision and permit management, primarily according to LSO 2:2 but also within the Act on Flammable and Explosive Goods (LBE).
Supervision under other legislation may also occur.
The position is organizationally placed at Unit South. With us, you will have the opportunity to work broadly and variedly, gaining insight into many different types of operations. You will build valuable relationships, develop a strong network, and gain a deeper understanding of how society functions.
Your Role Includes
- Conducting supervision and permit management according to LSO 2:2 and LBE
- Providing advice and handling referrals related to the Public Order Act
- Collaborating with businesses, municipalities, and other stakeholders to strengthen safety and fire protection efforts
- Contributing to the development of work methods and processes within the unit
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you work in a structured manner and have a good ability to relate to laws and regulations. You take responsibility for your tasks and ensure they are carried out with high quality and accuracy.
You are communicative and can summarize and convey information clearly and professionally, both in writing and in dialogue with colleagues, operators, and other stakeholders.
You need to have
- MSB's training Supervision A or equivalent training
- Driving license B
- Good digital competence
- Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
It is an advantage if you have
Experience of public authority exercise and work according to the Administrative Procedure Act
