KMA Coordinator at Kretslopp and Water

We are looking for three driven KMA coordinators who want to help shape the future of sustainable water supply in Gothenburg.

An Administration that Prioritizes Your Expertise

The administration is currently making a conscious investment in KMA issues, which means you will have a central role in supporting managers and employees in everything from operational planning and strategic choices to practical issues in the field. You will proactively drive issues that make a real difference – both for our employees and for the environment.

You will be a strategic and operational partner who helps the organization navigate complex requirements and translate them into effective, safe, and sustainable working methods in a technical everyday life.

Three Positions – Choose Your Arena

We are now strengthening the organization with three positions distributed across two of our core operations. All roles involve broad responsibility within the entire KMA area:

Pipeline Network – Two Positions

The Pipeline Network department ensures that the city's circulatory system – the pipeline network – operates around the clock. The area of responsibility includes both drinking water and sewage pipelines as well as various facilities. Here, you will be part of a large and dynamic organization with about 145 employees and a management group of 16 people consisting of unit managers and group leaders.

As one of two KMA coordinators in the department, you will work broadly to support the units in everything from systematic and practical occupational health and safety work to strategic and operational environmental issues. You will assist in developing quality-assured risk assessments and investigations, as well as ensuring that the organization has good self-control and follow-up. You will take the lead in important development areas such as mass handling and energy efficiency, ensuring that our work is carried out with the highest focus on safety and the smallest possible environmental footprint.

Drinking Water Production – One Position

The Drinking Water Production department produces the city's most important food – drinking water! We do this around the clock, year-round at our two waterworks, Alelyckan and Lackarebäck. You will be an important cog in an exciting and responsible mission, together with nearly 100 employees, as well as a management group of 8 people.

Together with the current KMA coordinator, you will support the department in everything from systematic and practical occupational health and safety work to strategic and operational environmental issues. For example, you will participate in the development of quality-assured risk assessments and drive actions in the environmental goal work. You will also conduct self-control and follow-up within the KMA area. The operation is a water operation that uses large amounts of energy and chemicals, which influences both environmental and occupational health and safety work.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree of at least three years in occupational health and safety, environment, quality, sustainability, or a related field. You have good experience working with systematic occupational health and safety work in a technical or industrial setting and are confident in interpreting and translating legislation into practically applicable working methods.

For the role, you need to have:

• Experience in occupational health and safety or environmental work
• The ability to independently drive, coordinate, and follow up on KMA issues
• Experience working closely with operations, managers, and employees
• Good analytical skills and a structured approach
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written

Experience in systematic quality work is an advantage, as is experience from process, operational, or project-intensive environments.

As a person, you are driven, solution-oriented, and responsible. You thrive in a role with many contact points, have an easy time building trust, and naturally collaborate with both internal and external parties. You have the ability to switch between a strategic holistic perspective and operational implementation.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.

The position is security-classified and requires a successful security clearance, which includes drug and alcohol testing, a background check from the Security Police, and that you are a Swedish citizen.
