The position is a summer temporary job, so we hope you are available for work between weeks 25-33. Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer with both work and enjoyable activities in good time! Whether you want to work day or night, in a fast-paced or calm environment, Securitas has the job for you.

Working as a guard is perfect for you who enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. As a guard at our office in Strömstad, you will become part of a close-knit team. The length of shifts varies, but they are often 12-hour shifts either day or night. The schedule also includes work on weekends.

As a patrolling guard, you are responsible for performing surveillance for several clients during your shift. You travel between clients by car and carry out various types of checks, including area surveillance, patrolling inside premises, alarm connections, and closures for clients. In this role, it is important to document your work and any deviations you encounter. The work is independent and often perceived as free, but with a great responsibility. The role of a patrolling guard suits you if you want a job where you get to move around. We are looking for two people, one to work during the day, usually between 06:00-18:00 and one person to work the night shift between 18:00-06:00 (the times may vary).

Requirements

• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Class B driver's license

Preferred if you

• have worked with similar tasks before
• have a background in the service industry
• have a civilian or military security guard training
• are a trained guard

As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized and can handle periods of high work pace. You are interested in technology and have an easy time understanding instructions. We see that you who are applying are an independent person and trust your own abilities, quickly understand problems and solve them creatively. You have a systematic and careful approach with an eye for detail. Great importance will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

For employment within Securitas Sverige AB, it is required that you have approved grades from the first year of high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to each regulation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legal compliance, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on collective agreements between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
