About the Role

The position is a summer temporary job, so we hope you are available for work between weeks 25-33. Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer with both work and enjoyable activities in good time!

As a Vehicle Coordinator, you are the hub of our operations at the border crossing. You are responsible for leading and directing vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring smooth traffic flow. The role is practical and requires good communication skills, quick problem-solving, and an eye for detail.

Working as a Vehicle Coordinator is perfect for you if you enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. At our office in Strömstad, you will become part of a close-knit team. Work shifts are often 8-hour shifts starting around lunchtime, typically Monday to Friday with weekends off!

Your Responsibilities

• Direct vehicles to the correct lanes and checkpoints
• Ensure that traffic flow is safe and efficient
• Provide clear instructions to drivers and collaborate with colleagues
• Handle any traffic stops or deviations on-site
• Contribute to order and safety in the area

Requirements

• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Class B driver's license

Preferred if you

• have worked with similar tasks before

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from the first year of high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security review according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to the respective legislation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns compliance with the law, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for the respective position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on collective agreements between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
