Your tasks

We are now looking for a team leader for the Schedule and Staffing Center at the Social Administration. As a team leader, you will play a key role in ensuring that operations run smoothly. You will serve as a central link between different parts of the organization and contribute both strategic coordination and operational support. Your ability to lead, communicate, and manage complex processes is crucial to achieving the organization's goals. As the team leader for SBC, you have overall responsibility for leading, coaching, and developing our team in scheduling and staffing. You drive improvement work around processes and routines while ensuring smooth collaboration with both internal and external parties. Through your engagement, you create structure and efficiency in a fast-paced environment with high volumes.

As a team leader, you will also:

  • Work with project management. You lead various projects or initiatives on behalf of the operations manager. This includes planning, organizing, following up, and reporting on the project's progress.
  • Coordinate work between different departments or units within the organization. You ensure that everyone works towards the same goals and that resources are used efficiently.
  • Identify and manage problems that arise in operations and propose solutions and escalate issues as needed.
  • Contribute to developing new working methods and processes within the organization.

Your workplace

The Schedule and Staffing Center (SBC) belongs to the LSS department within the Social Administration. The LSS department is one of five departments within the Social Administration. The department has about 700 employees and is responsible for services to individuals with decisions according to LSS. SBC is responsible for staffing short-term absences and being a central scheduling unit. The workgroup consists of 10 people, 6 of whom work with short-term staffing and 4 who work with schedule planning and support.

We operate from our premises at Drottninggatan 45, and working hours are scheduled on weekdays between 08:00-17:00 with flexible working hours. There is an opportunity for some remote work, but proximity and presence with the group are necessary.

You who are applying

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree of at least 180 credits in human resources, administration, HR, or another university education deemed equivalent by the employer. You have prior experience and knowledge in scheduling, staffing, and payroll. If you also have a basic understanding of system support, we see it as an advantage. It is desirable that you have previous experience in a leadership role.

As the job involves many social contacts, good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing is a requirement.

Planning, organizing, and prioritizing work comes naturally to you, and you are used to setting and adhering to deadlines. In changing environments, you remain steadfast and see opportunities in change and can easily adapt accordingly. You believe in your own abilities and are well aware of your strengths and weaknesses. You show courage and quickly address any conflicts and stand up for what has been said.
