Job Responsibilities

The mechanical maintenance department is now looking for a store buyer for the waste-to-energy plant in Sävenäs. Together with colleagues in mechanical maintenance, you will work in a workplace characterized by commitment, good camaraderie, and opportunities for variation in work.

You will work closely with team leaders and technicians. You will assist and ensure that all procurement within the Renova group is conducted according to LOU/LUF and the group's purchasing procedures, with profitability as a focus. We collaborate with internal and external customers to achieve customer benefits, which in turn should contribute to the company's profitability.

You will be based at the waste-to-energy plant. Work will be scheduled during the day. The unit plays an important role in ensuring that production can be conducted around the clock. Here, combustible waste from households and businesses is converted into heat and electricity.

Your main responsibilities will include leading and developing the purchasing and inventory operations within the business area.

In your work, you will among other things:

  • Be responsible for purchasing and ordering, as well as invoice management of materials, spare parts, and services for the maintenance workshop.
  • Receive, check, and record incoming goods.
  • Register, inventory, and manage items in the systems as well as system maintenance.
  • Maintain contact with suppliers.
  • Handle laundry of work clothes and towels.
  • Be responsible for the maintenance of forklifts and other equipment.
  • Carry out internal and external transport assignments involving the pickup and delivery of materials.

Qualifications

  • We are looking for someone with at least high school qualifications from a technical/mechanical line, purchasing, inventory, or equivalent.
  • Broad experience in purchasing, inventory management, and good technical knowledge.
  • Basic knowledge of LOU/LUF.
  • Very good computer skills and administration.
  • You should be familiar with using IT systems for inventory management and invoicing. (We use IFS10).
  • You need to have a B driver's license.
  • It is an advantage if you have a forklift license.
  • Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.

As a person, you have a good sense of service and find it easy to collaborate with both colleagues and suppliers. You are responsible for keeping order in the store, inventory, and our records. You enjoy working with continuous improvements with the best interests of the entire organization in mind. You have a positive demeanor, are meticulous, structured, and orderly, and you are willing to take your own initiatives based on identified needs.

To fit the role, you need to be self-driven and take responsibility for the commitments the organization has to fulfill. You have the ability to plan and organize your work in a structured way. You enjoy working both in the office and out in the store.

You are an important part of Renova's work with participatory improvement work and see it as a given to point out improvement suggestions and actively participate in implementing improvements at the unit and Renova as a whole.

Conditions
