Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

I am looking for someone who can start a temporary position at 75% that lasts until March 31, 2026.

For me, the relationship with my assistant is crucial. It is just as important that you feel comfortable with me as I do with you. Together, I believe in a long-term relationship and hope that you can continue working in some capacity even after the temporary position, for example as a substitute.

So who am I? I am a cheerful and positive woman in my 50s with two grown children. I need your support where my MS imposes limitations, such as hygiene, cleaning, and cooking. Some days are better than others, and I have more energy on some days while others are just about resting. I love spending time with family and friends and being outdoors, tending to flowers, etc. I also have a great interest in baking, cooking, and home decor. Therefore, it is obviously super fun if you share the same interests, but it is absolutely not a requirement as long as our personal chemistry matches and you are a woman.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• wants to work with a woman in her 50s living in Vetlanda

• has good knowledge of Swedish

• has a B driver's license

• is tolerant of pets and is not afraid of dogs

• is non-smoking

It is also meritorious if you:

• have experience in similar work

• share the client's interests

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is a temporary position of about 75% lasting until March 31, 2026, but it may be extended. The position involves work on weekdays and some weekends during daytime, evening, or night (on-call at night).

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

Immediately or according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that confirm your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
