The Care Administration in Tanum Municipality is now seeking a support educator for housing according to LSS.

The position is permanent full-time, distributed based on needs for support educator assignments and in operations. The residence is a house divided into two units. Responsibilities

The fundamental work as a support educator within disability services consists of creating meaning, independence, and personal development for care recipients under LSS. Through a pedagogical and creative approach, the support educator creates a daily life that promotes quality of life and an active and meaningful life, based on individual needs and conditions. You will work based on the assigned task and be responsible for the pedagogical work and method development.

As a support educator, you will work with implementation plans, routines, action plans, and support your colleagues in working independently to establish and follow up on implementation plans. As a support educator in Tanum Municipality, you have a responsibility to promote collaboration, cooperation, and work for an attractive environment for all, both colleagues and residents. You should act and contribute to a perspective and approach where a positive view of humanity and great respect for each person's needs permeate your working method.

The disability services have a well-functioning pedagogical network in which you, as a support educator, are included. Regular meetings are planned where all support educators meet to jointly develop the operations.

We systematically follow the individual’s and group’s work environment and offer a wellness allowance of 2500 SEK/year to maintain a healthy and positive work environment. Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a YH education as a support educator, 200 YH credits. You should have experience in the field and be well acquainted with current legislation. Together with the manager, you should be able to lead, engage, and develop the pedagogical work of the team. It is important that you are interested in development issues, and we place great emphasis on your ability to translate theoretical knowledge into professional practice. The work is varied, which requires you to be proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented.

Based on the needs of the target group, a genuine interest in working with people in need of support is required, as well as good planning and collaboration skills. We also expect you to have good knowledge of social documentation, be accustomed to handling IT and technology. You must master the Swedish language in both speech and writing and hold a B driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle.

Great importance is also placed on personal suitability.

Conditions

The position is 100% and is permanent with immediate entry or by agreement. A probationary period may be applied.
