JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of assistant to the nurse, you will work with health and medical care interventions on behalf of or together with the nurse, always based on the individual needs of the patient. You will perform delegated tasks such as wound dressings, sample collections, and other varied tasks, both in patients' homes, in ordinary housing, and in special accommodations.

The work is conducted with a person-centered approach and a holistic view, where each patient encounter is unique and significant. You will collaborate closely with nurses, other healthcare staff, as well as patients and their relatives to ensure safe and secure care.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are studying to become a nurse and have completed at least three semesters of the nursing program, or you who are a trained nursing assistant. You have good computer skills and experience working with IT-based journal systems and can express yourself clearly and professionally in speech and writing in Swedish. A driving license (B) is required as you will often work in patients' homes.

Previous experience in healthcare and social services, preferably within municipal health and medical care or home healthcare, is an advantage. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, where responsibility, teamwork, and a professional demeanor are important qualities.
