We are now looking for an Information Security Coordinator who will develop and strengthen the municipality's work with data protection and information security. The position is placed within the IT and administrative function and involves close collaboration with municipal management, operations, and external actors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Information Security Coordinator, you will coordinate the municipality's work with data protection and information security and act as the deputy signals protection manager according to the established organization and in collaboration with the appointed signals protection manager. You will have a broad responsibility where you work both strategically and operationally.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Designing, updating, and implementing governing documents.
• Setting security requirements during procurements and following up with suppliers.
• Disseminating knowledge and raising awareness about information security and data protection through training and workshops.
• Providing advice on security and data protection issues to the operations.
• Conducting relevant security analyses together with information and system owners.
• Managing and reporting information security and personal data incidents and driving improvement measures.
• Reporting the current situation and risks to the municipal council and municipal management.
• Participating in internal and external networks and forums for information security.
• Contributing to work on continuity and preparedness issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree in information security, IT, law, or another equivalent field. You have good and current knowledge of information security, data protection, and cybersecurity legislation and are well acquainted with applicable standards. You are pedagogical and have the ability to convey complex issues clearly and understandably to different target groups.

As a person, you have good collaboration skills and easily build trusting relationships, both internally and externally. You express yourself very well in speech and writing in Swedish. The position requires that you are a Swedish citizen and can undergo a security clearance with placement in a security class.

Experience in signals protection work and project management is an advantage.
