About us

Grimstaskolan is a school for grades 6-9, consisting of 16 classes and one class in adapted primary school. The school has approximately 450 students. Each grade forms a team and collaborates on the students' development and needs. We are a school located in eastern Upplands Väsby with good access to nature, recreational activities, and active associations.

About the position

The position involves teaching woodworking in grades 6-9. The position also includes mentorship for a group of students. The position is currently at 25 percent.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for someone with a teaching license to teach woodworking at the secondary level. It is an advantage if you have experience teaching at the secondary level.

As a person, you are collaborative, which for us means that you find it easy to work together with others to achieve common goals. Furthermore, you are solution-oriented and relationship-building. You have the ability to find solutions to emerging problems without losing sight of long-term strategies. To succeed in this role, you also need to be structured by organizing your work well and ensuring that what has been started is completed.
