Västbergaskolan is a three-parallel F-9 school where safety and quality are the focus.

The school also has an adapted primary school from preschool class to grade 9.

Our goal is for Västbergaskolan to provide all students with the conditions to develop as far as possible academically and in their development into safe, independent individuals.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, positive, and committed special teacher or teacher with special educational competence. You are stable and secure in your leadership and have a strong commitment to students with neuropsychiatric disabilities.

You coordinate the work in the studio, create structure and direction, and ensure that teaching and support maintain high quality. Daily tasks include planning, implementation, and follow-up of teaching. Create, implement, and follow up structures, routines, and working methods - always with a special educational focus. Lead the pedagogical work together with the two resource teachers and collaborate with student health, colleagues, and guardians.

The work is done in close collaboration with our special educator, where you together follow and document the students' progress in their learning. In the fall, the studio will become a 4-9 studio as we currently have students in grade 6 who will start grade 7 in the fall.

Qualifications

You are a licensed special teacher or teacher with special educational competence and have a broad subject competence.

You have good knowledge of and experience with students with neuropsychiatric disabilities and clarifying pedagogy. Experience teaching at the middle school level is a requirement.

You have the ability to build relationships with students and gain their trust while being a clear adult.

You have a good ability to collaborate with your colleagues to ensure that students have a safe and calm school day, with good conditions for learning.
