Information Security Officer (ISO)

Do you want to take a key role in further developing a structured, sustainable, and future-proof information security work? Hogia Public Transport Products AB is now looking for an Information Security Officer (ISO) who wants to work both strategically and operationally with information security, compliance, and continuous improvement.

With us, you will have a central position where you help shape how we work with information security – today and in the future – in an organization that develops essential systems for public transport.

About the role:

In the role of ISO, you are responsible for leading and coordinating our information security work with a focus on ISO 27001 and related regulations, such as NIS2. You have overall responsibility for driving the work towards certification and ensuring ongoing compliance over time.

The role is both strategic and operational. You work closely with the business and act as a cohesive link between management, technology, and operational functions. An important part of the assignment is to create structure, clarity, and anchoring in the information security work.

Your main tasks:

  • Lead and further develop the work with ISO 27001, including certification and ongoing compliance
  • Be responsible for the annual cycle, controls, follow-up, and improvement measures within information security
  • Work with risk analyses, internal audits, and supplier evaluations
  • Follow and interpret laws, regulations, and changes in the external environment within information and IT security (e.g., NIS2)
  • Ensure that processes and working methods are followed through close collaboration with the business
  • Collaborate with security functions within the Hogia group and be a support to management and operational teams
  • Respond to security-related inquiries from customers and external parties as needed

Are you the one we are looking for?

To succeed in this role, we see that you have a good understanding of how information security contributes to the quality, stability, and business goals of the organization. You are confident in your skills and used to working independently, while also enjoying collaboration and dialogue.

We would like you to have:

  • Experience working with information security and ISO 27001
  • Knowledge of NIS2 and other relevant regulations
  • Experience in project management or leading initiatives in the security area
  • Competence in risk management and internal auditing
  • Good communication skills and experience collaborating with both management and operational teams
  • Ability to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English

As a person, you are structured, analytical, and meticulous. You easily build trust, drive issues forward, and keep complex contexts together. You see the value of order and structure but also have the ability to adapt security work to the needs of the organization.

Working at Hogia

At Hogia, you get more than just an exciting job – you become part of a culture where curiosity, collaboration, and development are at the center. We believe in growing together, both as a team and as individuals.
