IT Architect at Partille Municipality
The IT unit is part of the department for digitalization, IT, and communication, responsible for the management, governance, and proactive administration of Partille Municipality's shared IT infrastructure and digital services.
As an IT architect in Partille Municipality, you play a key role in shaping, managing, and further developing a secure, modern, and sustainable IT environment. You work closely with colleagues in a small unit of five employees and a manager, serving as a strategic and technical resource in collaboration with various departments and the municipality's different suppliers.
The assignment encompasses the entire lifecycle of the municipality's IT solutions – from needs analysis and design to procurement, implementation, operation, and further development – and involves work at both operational and strategic levels. You have a solid technical foundation in IT and the ability to see the big picture where technology, information, and operations meet. With a helicopter perspective, you think scalable about systems, integrations, and information flows for solutions that can grow and be reused.
As a person, you enjoy collaborating and sharing knowledge. You thrive on working broadly and following a solution from idea to finished and managed service. The work includes mapping and optimizing IT infrastructure, services, integrations, and routines, as well as participating in security-related activities and coordination within the municipality and with external partners.
You are an important part of ensuring that solutions comply with legal requirements, guidelines, and security standards. Since the unit is small, you contribute broadly where needed. Through your work, you strengthen the municipality's digital foundation and contribute to the best possible service to our residents in a robust, accessible, and secure manner. We plan an onboarding together to give you a good start.
Examples of tasks:
- Map, document, and optimize the municipality's IT infrastructure, services, integrations, and necessary routines and processes to ensure optimal IT deliveries with multiple suppliers, administrations, and managers.
- Participate and support with technical and architectural expertise during procurements, purchases, and digitalization initiatives.
- Collaborate with the municipality's administrations and companies with a helicopter perspective and holistic view.
- Participate in or lead forums and projects related to operations, management, and digital development.
- Ensure that IT solutions are implemented and managed in accordance with agreements, legal requirements, guidelines, and security standards, and participate in security-related activities.
- Contribute broadly within the IT unit's mission in a collaborative climate for stable and efficient IT delivery, even outside your own area of expertise.
Welcome to us!
