Security Officer at the Swedish Armed Forces in Gothenburg

Do you have previous experience in security and intelligence services? The Swedish Armed Forces in Gothenburg is growing, and we are looking for an experienced security officer for Älvsborg Amphibious Regiment, Amf 4, located in Gothenburg.

You will work in the garrison's intelligence and security department and support the department head regarding intelligence and security services.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Your tasks will be many and varied, with a clear focus on making the Swedish Armed Forces in Gothenburg a safer operation and place.

You will participate in the daily work of supporting the operations with security and intelligence services.

As part of this, you will handle security matters. You will participate in analysis and planning work and drive cases. You will be responsible for and coordinate SUA within the garrison.

You will administer IT and access systems and prepare materials, train, and conduct functional meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education in security services
• At least 3 years of work experience in information security
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
• Experience working with laws, regulations, and guidelines in the security field
• Driving license B.

PREFERABLE QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge and skills in IS UndSäk
• Work experience handling classified information within a government agency
• Knowledge of SUA management
• Work experience in security vetting, security investigations, signal protection, and cryptosystems.

PERSONAL QUALITIES

You will handle classified and security-protected information, which places very high demands on your personal integrity. You have a good ability to work both independently and in a team with complex issues. You are not afraid to take your own initiatives and possess good spatial ability as you will work on several projects concurrently over time.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

OTHER

Employment form: Civil 100% permanent employment starting with a 6-month probationary period for new hires. Individual salary setting applies. The employment requires a successful security vetting and background check.

Working hours: Normal working hours 08:30-17:30, but varying working hours may occur. Evening/weekend duties and participation in exercises may occur.

Work location: Västra Frölunda, Gothenburg. Travel and participation in exercises may occur. Remote work is not possible.

Start date: According to agreement.
