Your Responsibilities

The tasks are varied, and you will work both in teams and independently in your daily work.

You will continuously be involved in projects related to the operations you are in, but also drive improvement projects for external parties. There, you will also have the opportunity to independently take responsibility and drive projects. There are good opportunities for development within your area of expertise.

Your responsibilities also include continuously participating in improvement projects of routines, processes, and IT tools. The organization strives to work with an ITIL-based model, which includes continuously participating in improving and streamlining IT processes.

The IT environment is predominantly Windows-based but also Linux-based. You will handle general security such as Clavister's firewall solution, antivirus, Cisco switches, general network issues, products such as IIS web server, DNS, monitoring, databases such as SQL, backup in the form of Veeam, virtualization such as VMware vSphere, cloud services such as Azure, and automation is done through PowerShell and Bash among several products.

On-call duty is included according to a rolling schedule.

Your Profile

The right person has about 8 years of experience in the field and has preferably worked in a large and mission-critical IT environment. You are senior in your level of experience and have a broad and good product knowledge within IT infrastructure, such as Linux and Windows products, server operations and clients, virtualized environments, networks, security, firewalls, monitoring, cloud services, databases, DNS, backup, storage, and automation. You have a good knowledge of ITIL. Additionally, you have previously participated in and have driven various types of improvement projects within IT infrastructure with good results.

Due to your seniority in your professional role, you have a very high level of independence when it comes to completing tasks and assigned projects. You enjoy working in a team-based environment but also take independent responsibility for your tasks. You may have a particular area of interest in databases and Linux. There are good opportunities to further develop both your strong areas and areas for improvement, alongside your ongoing tasks that must be managed for functional IT operations.

As a person, you are generous when it comes to sharing your knowledge. You are quality-oriented, meticulous, and goal-oriented. Since the IT environment at the client company is often unique, you will be able to continue building on your already high competence in IT infrastructure. Therefore, you have no problems getting acquainted with new routines, processes, and products. You are committed and take responsibility for your continued learning and your own development in your professional role.

Some form of relevant education in IT is required, such as certificates, courses, at a high school or university level.
