We are currently looking for an experienced Software Tester who wants to work with testing and quality assurance of advanced software systems. In the role of software tester, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and automating tests to ensure quality, reliability, and performance in embedded software systems.

Using modern testing tools and methods, you will ensure that the software meets both project requirements and applicable industry standards.

Responsibilities as a software tester / SW Test Engineer will include:

• Designing and developing test plans and test cases to verify software functionality and performance

• Creating and maintaining test documentation

• Setting up and configuring test environments that reflect real usage conditions

• Identifying, prioritizing, and following up on software defects

• Performing performance, stress, and robustness testing

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve problems and ensure timely delivery

• Tracking and reporting test status and key metrics to stakeholders

We are looking for a software tester / SW Test Engineer who has:

• A degree in electrical engineering, technical physics, computer engineering, or similar

• Experience in software testing and test development

• Experience with Python-based test automation and HIL and/or SIL testing

• Familiarity with test case specification, execution, and reporting

• Good understanding of requirement-based testing and traceability

• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Desirable experience

• HIL testing in Vector-based systems

• CANoe and CAPL programming

• Knowledge of XCP, ETK, VX1000

• A background in electrical engineering combined with strong programming skills in Python
