We are now looking for an engaged, driven, and attentive NOC Technician who wants to contribute to stable operations, effective monitoring, and the future mobile networks within the Västra Götaland Region.

Your Mission

As an NOC Technician at VGR, you play a central role in ensuring stable operations and high quality in our network and radio infrastructure. The role offers a unique opportunity to be involved from the start in the development of NOC functions and competencies related to VGR's private 5G network.

You monitor our systems, manage incidents, and initiate troubleshooting according to established routines, while documenting actions and following up on cases in our case management system. The role also includes detecting and escalating deviations according to established processes and ensuring that SLAs and internal prioritization routines are followed.

You actively contribute ideas, solutions, and improvement initiatives, considering both the needs of the business and how changes affect our work processes. An important part of the mission is to work proactively with improvements and optimization of the mobile network to prevent incidents and operational disruptions.

The role also includes a development responsibility for the NOC function. You build and refine routines, processes, and working methods that govern how NOC handles monitoring, operations, prioritization, and action proposals. You are involved in requirements specification, implementation, and configuration of EMS and develop relevant monitoring views.

In addition to the technical work, the role may also involve coordinating and leading a team of junior NOC technicians and holding knowledge-sharing sessions for the support organization. You also contribute to identifying skills needs and defining what competencies VGR needs to effectively and sustainably support, operate, and monitor a private 5G network.

VGR offers a hybrid workplace (Gothenburg and surrounding areas), and we expect you to be physically present in Mölndal 2-3 days a week.
