Social Workers Needed in Lerum Municipality

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for two social workers for our unit responsible for statutory interventions for individuals over 67 years old, primarily concerning services such as home care, short-term accommodation, and special housing according to the Social Services Act. The position entails:

• informing and guiding individuals
• receiving reports and applications
• conducting investigations and individual needs assessments
• making decisions on interventions according to the Social Services Act
• collaborating with other professionals, both internally and externally

We are preparing for the implementation of the new Social Services Act, which means changing work methods and new requirements. Therefore, you are expected to actively contribute to a long-term and sustainable change process and meet development with commitment and a positive attitude.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• has a degree in social work or another qualification deemed equivalent by the employer
• has good knowledge of relevant legislation
• expresses themselves well in spoken and written Swedish
• has good collaboration skills and can work independently

As a person, you are structured, resilient to stress, and flexible in both thought and action. You have the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage demands from your environment without losing focus on the task. You are confident, unpretentious, and have a positive view of people.

Experience in statutory work and elderly care is an advantage.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.

Start date is negotiable, but preferably in February or March.
