About the Job

Språnget Media is an organization with two hubs.

Media and Språnget. We are now looking for a support assistant who wants to work at the Språnget hub.

At Språnget, we work to ensure that participants in daily activities have their activities out in a real workplace, where they train, develop, and feel like an integral part of a work team. The goal is for the participant to grow into the role of an employee with the long-term aim of employment.

As an employee with us, you are both a coach for the participant and a link to working life. You create and maintain relationships with employers, understand their operations, and see opportunities where our participants can contribute. Together with companies, you build sustainable solutions where the participant receives the right support and grows in their role.

We work with Supported Employment and provide support all the way, from mapping and matching to on-site follow-up. You need to be able to think strategically, be attentive, and confident in dialogue with both entrepreneurs and participants.

You will work with individualized support according to clear pedagogical methods, low-arousal responses, and AAC. You will be the contact person and responsible for social documentation in Treserva. You are experienced in providing individual guidance.

Collaborate with companies, relatives, guardians, and professionals such as nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. Contribute to a good working climate where creativity, safety, and development are in focus.

As a support assistant, you will work together with other support assistants, support pedagogues, and the unit manager. Together, we put the participant at the center, which means participation in activities based on their resources, interests, and needs.

You will be the contact person for several participants in the unit. This means you are responsible for establishing and following up on implementation plans with goals for the participant's employment, work plans, routines, and manuals, as well as keeping daily notes in Treserva.

The working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday.

About You

We are looking for someone with a degree from the Health and Care Program, support assistant training, or the Child and Recreation Program with a focus on social and pedagogical work. The educational requirement is also met if you have a specialization in the disability area that includes at least 200 YH points, 120 university credits, or 60 university credits with two years of work experience with people with disabilities. The courses should be in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) care or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent.

It is also a requirement that you have good computer skills and knowledge of social documentation. For the position, good knowledge of Swedish equivalent to Swedish 1 or Swedish as a second language 1 is required. If you lack formal qualifications, it may be necessary to take a language test. Experience working with individuals with mild intellectual disabilities and/or autism is also a requirement.

It is an advantage if you have experience in health and care as well as knowledge in LAB, AAC, clear pedagogical methods, sign language support, ESL, IBIC, and MI. It is also advantageous if you have a B driver's license and driving experience, training in Supported Employment, and experience working with individuals close to the labor market who need individualized support to take steps toward employment.
