About us

Väsby Support and Care is the municipal provider of elderly care and LSS operations in Upplands Väsby municipality. Brobacken is a special accommodation for people with dementia diagnoses and individuals with high care needs, with a total of 76 places. The unit is certified according to the Silviahemmet care philosophy and is only a few minutes' walk from Upplands Väsby's train station.

About the position

As a physiotherapist, you will plan your work together with an occupational therapist based on current HSL routines. The focus will be on mobility assessments, fall risk assessments, assistive device prescriptions, teamwork, and staff supervision. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting physiotherapeutic assessments and interventions
• Follow-ups based on individual needs
• Investigating and assessing the need for physiotherapeutic interventions
• Prescribing and testing assistive devices
• Conducting functional assessments
• Supervising staff
• Making home visits as needed
• Leading group exercises and walking groups for our residents

As a licensed professional, you will also have the responsibility for documentation of the interventions that are planned, implemented, and evaluated. You will also collaborate with other care providers.

For this position, presenting a valid extract from the police criminal record is a prerequisite for employment.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for someone who has a Swedish license as a physiotherapist or physical therapist.

It is an advantage if you have experience in elderly care.
