The Social Administration has a broad area of responsibility that includes authority exercises and preventive measures, with a reception and investigation unit, outpatient care, family law, financial assistance, and an operational unit working with preventive measures.

The workplace is located in Märsta, just a two-minute walk from the station. We offer flexible workplaces and the possibility to work from home if the work allows and in agreement with your manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are responsible for investigating children's needs for protection and support, granting measures according to delegation, and following up on granted measures. The unit consists of three groups, two of which work with investigations and one with follow-up measures. We are now looking for social workers for both the investigation groups and the intervention group.

There is a wide range of cases, and we dare to promise that you will learn something new every day! The high collective competence within the administration, along with the large number of internal training sessions, means that you always have the opportunity to develop. If you want to try something new or participate in business development, we will make it happen.

We know that social workers often have a vulnerable position, and therefore we work hard to improve the work environment in our administration together. We care for each other and support one another and would love for you to enjoy having a common lunch or coffee break from time to time.

To support you in your work, you will have accessible and present managers as well as an experienced and cheerful group of colleagues. Additionally, we have central support functions such as process leaders, senior social workers, placement secretaries, and SIP coordinators linked to the unit. They act as sounding boards for you and your colleagues, relieve pressure, and ensure high quality and safety in case management. Our senior social worker and process leader guarantee a thorough and individual introduction regardless of whether you have worked in the profession for several years or are new. We work to involve the network around our children and youth and have several network team leaders.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have:

• A degree in social work,
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing,
• Experience in working with investigations or follow-ups for children and youth within social services.
• A driver's license is an advantage as we travel a lot in the job.
