Your Mission

As a support pedagogue at Rudsjövägen group home, you will work in a multifaceted role where you contribute to creating conditions for participation and independence for individuals within LSS. With a salutogenic value base, we focus on the individual's strengths and what works. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and following up on pedagogical methods by working closely with clients while also guiding and supporting your colleagues. Additionally, tasks such as care, shower support, assistance during meals, transfers, and medication management are included.

The role includes, among other things:

• Development of pedagogical methods, such as clear pedagogical practices and AAC, which also includes emotional regulation and other communicative strategies
• Guidance of colleagues in documentation, implementation plans, and evidence-based practices
• Operational work in the organization to identify areas for development, test new methods, and follow up on results
• Care work and medication management
• Planning and execution of activities, both individually and in groups
• Close collaboration with the deputy operations manager and coordinators as well as other support pedagogues to develop and improve the organization
• Contributing to structure and predictability for our clients

Nacka municipality has 12 group and service homes divided into five clusters. As a support pedagogue with us, you will work in a cluster consisting of two to three operations, with time allocated for both operational and administrative tasks. Work shifts are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends at our group homes, as well as days, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call at our service homes. Your Experience

To be considered for the position, you must have:

• Previous work experience in group homes, service homes, or daily activities with the LSS target group
• Documented experience in guiding colleagues in working with documentation, establishing implementation plans, and following routines in a structured manner
• Familiarity with methods such as clear pedagogical practices, alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), and individual needs-centered (IBIC) approaches
• Education as a support pedagogue or equivalent as assessed by the employer
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good computer and system skills and comfortable using digital tools in your work
• Experience in managing and working with individuals with challenging behaviors and the ability to adapt your work based on their needs
