With us at Tensta Swimming and Sports Hall, you will be part of an engaged team of around eleven people who make a difference every day.

We have a strong team spirit and close cohesion, something that both we and our guests appreciate.

Tensta Swimming and Sports Hall is more than just a swimming hall; it is a vibrant meeting place in the Tensta and Järva area, characterized by diversity, community, and pride. Here, children, youth, adults, and seniors train side by side, and we meet people from all over the world under the same roof.

Your role

As a wellness leader at Tensta Swimming and Sports Hall, you will be an important part of both our operations and our area. You meet our visitors with warmth, service, and commitment, contributing to more people experiencing the joy of movement.

In this role, you lead inspiring group training sessions and adapt training to different target groups. Particularly important is the work with children and youth in the local area, as well as with people with disabilities and seniors. You will also help plan and implement activities that strengthen public health throughout the Järva area, where your enthusiasm and knowledge help attract more people to an active life.

With us, we help each other maintain a high standard at the facility. This means that you, just like your colleagues, also contribute to reception and cleaning so that all our visitors feel safe and welcome. Some swimming instruction may also be included in the position.

Your skills and experience

You have:

• High school education and at least a one-year post-secondary wellness education or equivalent
• A burning interest in working with children and youth
• Training and experience in leading group training sessions, preferably in various forms
• Good Swedish in speech and writing, and the ability to adapt your communication to the person and situation
• Basic computer skills
• Good swimming ability and can dive to a depth of 1.8 meters

Meritorious:

• Experience working with people with disabilities
• Experience working with seniors
• Training as a FaR leader
• Training as a gym instructor
• Swimming teacher training
• Leadership experience from associations or other youth activities
