The Staffing Center is a municipal operation responsible for Huddinge municipality's substitute management within its own organization. Our mission is to staff and recruit hourly substitutes for various operations within support for people with disabilities and elderly care during short-term absences such as illness, vacation, or training.

We are currently looking for hourly substitutes for our operations within support for people with disabilities.

As a substitute within support for people with disabilities, you can work in:

• Group homes
• Service housing
• Daily activities

Our operations are spread throughout Huddinge, and to know which operations you are interested in working in, you will answer questions in your application.

Job Responsibilities

The job responsibilities include meeting our users' individual needs for care, support, and activities. You treat the residents with respect, focusing on making them feel safe and involved in their care. The assignment also includes medication management after delegation from a nurse.

Your Profile

To be eligible for the job, you need to be available at least three days a week. We have operations that are open 24/7 throughout the year. Therefore, you need to be able to work varying hours that may occur during the day and evening, both weekdays and weekends. There may also be work during awake nights or sleeping on-call. Since you work at different times of the day, particularly high demands are placed on flexibility. As a substitute, you need to be available at short notice.

You who apply for the position have experience working within support for people with disabilities. It is particularly meritorious if you have worked with personal care and have experience working with challenging behavior and low-arousal responses. It is also meritorious if you are a trained nursing assistant or childcare worker.

The job places high demands on initiative, collaboration, and problem-solving. You need to be confident in yourself and comfortable working with individuals who are in great need of continuity, structure, and care. Special emphasis is placed on response, view of humanity, and empathy.

You have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

Good computer skills are required as documentation is done on a computer.
