Substitute Personal Assistant in Täby

We are looking for someone to work as a substitute personal assistant for a 13-year-old boy with autism in Täby. This position is suitable for students or those with other jobs as it is only a substitute position during evenings and weekends. For the right person, there is an opportunity to work 1 weekend a month.

About the Role

As a personal assistant, you will provide support at home and meet the boy after school. The assignment requires constant supervision to help the boy manage his daily life in the best way possible. Work hours are scheduled in the evening from 4:15 PM to 10:00 PM and some weekends.

Who Are You

As the boy is active, it is important that you are alert, attentive, and enjoy being active. You are professional, have good judgment, and can set boundaries. You are empathetic and use low-arousal approaches. The work requires patience and the ability to adapt your communication and approach based on the situation. You are secure, trust-building, and recognize the importance of being a positive adult role model. You can work independently and take initiative. You must be able to write and speak Swedish as the client's communication is limited.

Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and other variations is a requirement.
