Personal Assistant Wanted

Hello

I am a lively and cheerful almost 19-year-old boy living in Tullinge with my family. Due to my CP disability since birth, epilepsy, and additional disabilities, I need assistance around the clock to live my life. I already have a bunch of fantastic assistants by my side and am now looking for another assistant to join my team. Besides going to school, I enjoy being at home hanging out with my family, playing games, baking, and going for walks. Sometimes I want to go on outings, and my favorite places are Tom Tits and Skansen.

Job Responsibilities

Personal assistance is about providing service - assisting me so that I can live like any other teenager, which includes everything that is part of my daily life. My disabilities mean that I need help with just about everything; such as meals, hygiene, activities, exercise, respiratory therapy, and communication. I have mucus and breathing problems, which means you need to be attentive and observant of my needs. During the day, I go to school, and after school, I usually go home and do fun things with the help of my assistant. Part of your job will involve assisting me with motor training.

You should have a strong work ethic and enjoy being busy regardless of the time of day. I want you to be engaged in your work and support both me and the team, be unpretentious and attentive to my needs, and have a professional and positive attitude towards the job - you are incredibly important in my life! I am looking for someone who is social, flexible, responsible, and works from the heart. I would like you to take initiative and be clear in your communication. I have lifting aids, but the job still involves physical tasks, so it is good if you have good physical fitness.

It is a plus if you have some kind of healthcare education or experience with inhalation, tube feeding, BPAP, and/or cough and suction machines, but it is not a requirement. Previous experience as a personal assistant is an advantage.

Position: Approximately 28 hours/week (About 71%) Mainly daytime: 07:00-16:10, evenings: 16:00-21:40, and weekends: 08:00-16:00.
