Social Worker for Investigation and Follow-up of Children Aged 0–18

Your Mission:

The investigation and follow-up team consists of 22 social workers, five senior social workers, four team leaders, and one group manager. The group manager Johanna Lundqvist leads the team together with the team leaders, focusing on job satisfaction and believes that the employees' work environment is the most important piece for achieving high quality for the children and youth we are here for. You will receive close support from team leaders in your work, and we also have senior social workers with many years of experience in the group, which is a great asset in our complex work. Johanna is a brave leader who inspires and leads through trust.

The children and youth to be investigated or followed up come through our reception group, which has made an initial assessment and, if necessary, a shorter investigation to initiate an intervention. You will work in a unit driven by development and a focus on quality work - all to strengthen and protect the children and youth who come to us!

As a Social Worker, you will:

• Work based on the legislation SoL and LVU.
• Investigate and assess cases within child welfare in accordance with the BBIC structure.
• Collaborate with the child's network as well as with internal and external partners.
• Make decisions and follow up on interventions.
• Independently manage the entire process in your cases.
• Create participation for the children and youth we meet through close cooperation with their networks.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a degree in social work.
• Has several years of experience in public authority work within Children and Youth.
• Possesses good documentation skills and an excellent ability to communicate well in speech and writing.
• Has experience working according to the BBIC structure.

It is an advantage if you have specialist knowledge in areas such as young criminals, violence, or network work. Experience in development work within the authority is also a benefit as we constantly strive to improve for the sake of the children.
