Business Developer with Customer Focus
Within the Technical Administration in Lidingö Municipality, approximately 45 people work. We manage and develop municipal roads, parks, natural areas, waste, traffic, as well as water and sewage. We are responsible for developing traffic and urban environments to create a safe, healthy, and attractive public environment in our beautiful archipelago municipality. The unit for economics and operational management, which you will be part of, is responsible for developing financial management and operational management issues to create an efficient administration and organization.
The role of business developer with a customer focus is a completely new position within the unit. Your closest colleagues will be; business strategist and business developer, two controllers, a committee secretary, and a system administrator. This role will have broad collaboration areas both internally with other units in the administration and will be part of city-wide networks.

RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a business developer with a customer focus as a common denominator. You will play a key role in the technical administration, which involves strategic responsibility for both customer case management and communication. You will drive the development of case management and proactive communication by coordinating the needs of operations, defining requirements, and developing system support, as well as supporting process establishment in close collaboration with the central customer center and communication units.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the administration's processes take overall responsibility for the customer journey, including governance, follow-up, and analysis of insights from customer case management. You will be a key person in creating structures and working methods that strengthen both customer relationships and the communication of the operations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence the entire customer journey from the first contact to follow-up and analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is collaborative and relationship-oriented, with a professional and service-oriented attitude. You have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and understand the value of proactive communication. You are attentive, independent, solution-oriented, and have the ability to analyze and act with a focus on results.
We are looking for someone who has several years of qualified work experience in operational management/business development or equivalent. A university degree of at least 3 years in social sciences, political science, public administration, management, communication, or another education that we consider equivalent.
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience working in the municipal sector
- Experience in technical operations
- Experience with customer perspective, customer journeys
- Experience in process development projects, process management, process visualization tools
- Experience in quality management, ISO 9000, improvement tools
- Experience with innovation tools and processes, such as service design, strategic foresight
- Experience/knowledge in Microsoft 365 Power Platform
