About the Job

We are looking for a warm and patient personal assistant for substitute work.

You preferably have previous experience working with children who are high-functioning on the autism spectrum and understand the complexities of managing both emotional and environmental sensitivities. The person needing assistance is a young girl who is very kind and intelligent but sometimes has strong emotional reactions. You will be part of a small workgroup and will work closely with them and the family.

Desired Qualities of the Assistant

Ability to calmly handle and support during emotional outbursts.
Creative in adapting daily activities to individual needs and sensitivities.
Strong in communication and able to build trust.
Patience and the ability to recognize and meet both expressed and unexpressed needs.
Fluent in Swedish.

Job Responsibilities Include

Support at home and during activities outside the home.
Create a safe and supportive environment.
Collaboration with guardians and any other caregivers to create and maintain a safe environment.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working Hours, Employment Rate, and Salary

We are looking for someone who can work as a substitute as needed. Work shifts may be distributed during daytime and evening hours, weekdays, and weekends. Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations will be according to collective agreements.
