Responsibilities

As a parish educator in Teg Parish, you will be part of a team consisting of 20 employees from various professional backgrounds. Your closest colleagues are trained educators and parish educators, and together you plan and carry out various types of activities for children and youth.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading group activities for children aged 0-12 years
• Being in contact with schools, especially before Easter walks
• Participating in worship services

About You

We are looking for someone with experience working with children and youth, and you have a relational ability that makes it easy for you to build relationships with new people. You are grounded in the faith and community life of the Church of Sweden and are a member of the Church of Sweden. Since much of the work is done together with your colleagues, we are looking for someone who collaborates well with others. As a person, you have the ability to independently structure and drive your work forward. We also expect you to have a responsible approach and handle responsibilities with integrity and thoughtfulness.

Experience in educational work as well as an educational degree, teaching degree, or training as a parish educator is advantageous. We also consider it a merit if you have experience working within the Church of Sweden or a similar organization and if you can play an instrument. It is also beneficial if you have a B driver's license.

Conditions

The position is a temporary contract of 40-50% until June 20, 2026, with good opportunities for extension. Start date according to agreement.
