A personal assistant helps someone with basic needs, such as eating, dressing, washing, and communicating. The assistance is individually tailored and aims to provide increased opportunities for individuals with disabilities to live an independent life.

Right now, we are looking for someone who wants to work evenings and nights with a male client in Holmsund!

Your tasks

As a personal assistant, you provide support and help in the client's daily life. You assist with personal care, medication, transfers, meals, and personal hygiene. The work also includes interventions in palliative care as well as handling of feeding tubes, PEG, cough machines, suction devices, and C-PAP.

About you

We prefer that applicants have experience in healthcare, preferably in palliative care. If you are also a trained nursing assistant and/or have experience with feeding tubes, C-PAP, cough machines, and lifts, that is also an advantage.

However, the above are not requirements; we place great importance on your personal suitability. We are looking for someone who is a secure, calm, and empathetic person who naturally builds trust in interactions with others. You have the ability to listen, read situations, and adapt your approach according to the client's individual needs and condition. It is important that you are responsible, have a respectful attitude, and can collaborate closely with both the client and others in the client's vicinity.

In order to communicate with clients, relatives, and colleagues, write and access care documentation, and receive medication delegation, you must have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

Heavy lifting occurs, and mobility aids should be used. Please note that there are pets in the home, so you should not be allergic.
