I am a 59-year-old man looking for an assistant. I live with my wife, our cats, and dogs. After a stroke in 2003/2004, my right side is paralyzed, and I use a wheelchair. However, I remain active. I enjoy gardening and growing vegetables as long as the weather permits.
We have a horse, and I share an interest in horses with my wife, so we go to the stable together.
During the winter, I spend more time indoors reading. I also enjoy playing board games with my assistants.
The role of the assistant includes household chores, personal care, leisure activities, and much more. I see integrity, respect, and honesty as prerequisites for a good relationship and collaboration. It is important that you can handle both calm and stressful situations well.
You should preferably not be a smoker. It is a big plus if you are used to cats, dogs, and horses.
Experience in Care and Support is a significant advantage but not a requirement.
A valid driver's license (B) is a must. I live in a house in a small town, and part of your job will be to drive my car when needed.
