Description

In Vännäs municipality, the Social Services have an ongoing, preventive, and treatment-oriented development work with the aim that children and families, as far as possible, will receive support in their home environment and manage their future on their own.

As part of this development, we are recruiting another new employee to our treatment team.

Responsibilities

As a therapist in the team, you primarily work with assessed support interventions for families with children and adolescents, but also adults in close collaboration with the authority-exercising social workers. Together in the unit, you develop the work to implement outpatient care on your own.

In the role of therapist, you are expected to work both in teams and individually, depending on the nature of the assignment. The work takes place in the family's home, in our facilities, or at other adapted and suitable locations. You work based on assignments and have close collaboration with investigating social workers and other colleagues in the unit and any other actors. You document your work, write implementation plans, and summarize the intervention. You are responsible for ensuring that the intervention is carried out and that it occurs within the predetermined timeframe. You also have documentation obligations according to the applicable requirements.

You start from the family's and the individual's own resources. Working together with the children, adolescents, parents, and other networks is seen as an important prerequisite for being able to meet the needs for support and change in individually tailored treatment plans. Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work, and we would like to see that you have experience working with treatment. Further education in psychosocial treatment work such as systems theory, CBT, and other prevalent and evidence-based working methods is meritorious. Experience working with victims of violence is desirable.

As a person, you are creative and flexible with a good ability to structure and plan treatment work. It is important that you believe in individuals' own strength. You have a very good ability to collaborate and are good at building relationships. You should be able to work independently and in teams with others, be flexible, engaged, and curious. We are looking for someone who is driven and eager to help develop a social service for the future. You must be able to express yourself simply in Swedish in both speech and writing, but we see multilingualism as an asset. You must also have knowledge and familiarity with applicable legislation and guidelines. We place great emphasis on your personal suitability and your ability and willingness to contribute to the development of the organization by daring to think outside the box. Since the job involves some travel, a B driver's license is required. To obtain employment, a criminal record extract from the police must be presented.
