Job Responsibilities

As a mentor, you provide support to students with disabilities in planning and structuring their studies, as well as introducing them to how academic studies work.

The support is provided individually or in groups. The mentoring support means that you, as a mentor, together with the student, create tools and conditions for the student to find strategies to successfully complete their studies. This may include:

• Study techniques and study habits
• Timetables and weekly planning
• Finding information related to studies such as deadlines and reading lists

Qualifications

Requirements

• You must be admitted to a degree program at the undergraduate or graduate level at a Swedish institution.
• You must have studied for at least two semesters with good academic results.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English as required in daily work.

Personal Competencies

As a person, you are calm, secure, and patient, with a good ability to plan and structure.

Meritorious

• Student at KTH.
• Experience in motivating and coaching.
• Familiarity with how disabilities can affect study situations.
